alucore-panel

ALUCORE® is an innovative aluminium composite panel consisting of two aluminium cover sheets and a core of aluminium.

ALUCORE® comes in 2 variants ALUCORE® ACCP and ALUCORE® Honeycomb. ALUCORE® features marine grade corrosion resistance alloy 5005 H24 for durability. The PVDF/FEVE coating as per AAMA 2605 ensures long term performance and protection from UV radiation and weathering .

ALUCORE® is an aluminium composite panel consisting of two cover sheets and a honeycomb core of aluminium.
Following in the footsteps of the world-wide established ALUCOBOND® trademark, ALUCORE® is also a composite material for a variety of applications in transport industry and architecture, showing excellent product properties such as extraordinary flatness, large variety of colours and high formability. The aluminium honeycomb core gives the composite panel a high rigidity and an extremely low weight. ALUCORE® therefore provides the decisive advantage where very high demands are made on the material for applications such as façade cladding or roofing, e.g. if exposed to extremely high wind load and for large self-supporting roofs.ALUCORE® is the first lightweight panel that you, too, will absolutely insist as being: a bond for life.

ALUCORE® can be easily routed on conventional routing machines and CNC machining centres. To avoid pressure marks on the surface, please use plastic or wood vice jaws when working on ALUCORE®. High-speed steel or carbide tipped cutters suitable for aluminium and ALUCORE® have a wide tooth pitch, radiused and smooth grooves and small lip angles. They produce perfect cuts under the following conditions:
  • High-speed steel (HSS) max. cutting speed 3,000 m/min max. feed 25 m/min
  • Carbide tipped (CT) cutter max. cutting speed 5,000 m/min max. feed 30 m/min
