Pre-Coated Solid Aluminium Sheet

Pre-Coated Solid Aluminium Sheet ALUCODUAL®

ALUCODUAL® is a pre-coated engineered solid sheet comprising 2/3 layers of laminated aluminium sheet. This advanced composition ensures perfect flatness, which is often challenging to achieve with standard post-coated solid sheets.

The product undergoes a multi-coat, multi-bake process on a continuous industrial-grade coil coating line, utilizing the highest grade of fluorocarbon-based PVDF/FEVE paint system as per AAMA 2605 superior performance specification. This makes ALUCODUAL® an ideal ACP aluminium sheet for exterior use, offering long-term performance, weather resistance, and durability.

Frequently Asked Questions about ALUCODUAL®

What is ALUCODUAL®?

ALUCODUAL® is a pre-coated Solid Aluminium Sheet engineered with 2–3 layers of laminated aluminium skins. It ensures perfect flatness, enhanced rigidity, and long-lasting durability compared to standard aluminium sheets. Designed for architectural use, it is ideal for facades, wall cladding, soffits, and interior applications.

Why should architects choose ALUCODUAL®?

Architects prefer ALUCODUAL® because it combines the durability of Aluminium Sheets with excellent fire-retardant properties. Its superior flatness, wide range of finishes, formability into 3D shapes, and compliance with A2-s1, d0 fire classification make it a safe, sustainable, and aesthetically versatile choice for modern building designs.

What materials are used in ALUCODUAL® sheets?

ALUCODUAL® is manufactured using laminated layers of marine-grade alloy 5005 Solid Aluminium Sheets. The product undergoes a multi-coat, multi-bake PVDF/FEVE fluorocarbon coating process, ensuring corrosion resistance, colour consistency, and long-term performance in demanding architectural environments.

What thicknesses are available for ALUCODUAL®?

ALUCODUAL® Solid Aluminium Sheets are available in multiple thicknesses suitable for different facade and cladding applications. The precise thickness range can be customized depending on project requirements, ensuring strength, rigidity, and design flexibility for both small- and large-scale constructions.

Which coating system does ALUCODUAL® use – PVDF or FEVE?

ALUCODUAL® utilises high-performance PVDF/FEVE fluorocarbon-based coatings, applied on a continuous coil-coating line. This process provides aluminium sheets with excellent colour consistency, superior weather resistance, and durability that meets the AAMA 2605 performance specifications for long-term outdoor applications.

In what applications can ALUCODUAL® be used?

ALUCODUAL® solid aluminium sheets are widely used for facades, soffits, wall cladding, column cladding, airports, malls, stadiums, residential buildings, and decorative interiors. Their rigidity, formability, and fire safety features make them suitable for both creative architectural designs and functional structural requirements.

Is ALUCODUAL® fire-retardant?

Yes, ALUCODUAL® is a fire-retardant aluminium sheet solution. Unlike composite panels with thermoplastic cores, ALUCODUAL® does not emit toxic gases or burning droplets in the event of fire. Classified as A2-s1, d0 under EN 13501-1 standards, it meets stringent global fire safety requirements.

What warranty is offered with ALUCODUAL®?

ALUCODUAL® comes with a 10-year warranty, ensuring architects and builders long-term reliability. Its marine-grade alloy and durable coating system provide lasting performance, making it one of the most dependable Solid Aluminium Sheet solutions for architectural projects.
